GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL & DATA PRINCIPAL RIGHTS PROCEDURE

1. Purpose
This Procedure provides customers and other Data Principals with a simple mechanism to raise:
Privacy complaints
Personal-data concerns
Requests for correction or updating
Requests for erasure, where applicable
Questions about processing of personal data
Other grievances relating to Zehbia's privacy obligations
The DPDP Act provides Data Principals with rights relating to access information, correction/erasure, grievance redressal and nomination.
2. How to Submit a Request
A request or grievance may be submitted through:

Zehbia may also provide an in-app or website-based grievance/request mechanism.
3. Information to Include
To help us process the request, the customer should provide:
Name
Registered mobile number/email
Customer/account identifier, where available
Nature of request or grievance
Relevant order/booking reference, if applicable
Supporting information where necessary
Zehbia may request reasonable information to verify the identity of the requester and prevent unauthorised disclosure.
4. Available Data Principal Requests
Subject to applicable law and verification, a Data Principal may request:
Information about personal data being processed
Correction of inaccurate data
Completion or updating of data
Erasure of personal data where applicable
Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent
Information regarding processing or relevant privacy practices
Exercise of the right to nominate, where applicable
Requests may be subject to legal limitations.
5. Grievance Handling Process
Zehbia will:
Receive and register the grievance/request.
Acknowledge it where appropriate.
Verify the requester where necessary.
Review the relevant records.
Take appropriate corrective action.
Communicate the outcome to the requester.
Maintain an appropriate record of the request and resolution.
The DPDP Rules, 2025 require Data Fiduciaries to provide readily available means for exercising Data Principal rights and to publish the means for submitting such requests.
6. Response & Escalation
Zehbia will handle requests within the period prescribed by applicable law.
Where a requester is dissatisfied with the response, the matter may be escalated through Zehbia's designated grievance mechanism.
The DPDP Act provides that a Data Principal should first exhaust the grievance opportunity provided by the Data Fiduciary before approaching the Data Protection Board, where applicable.
7. Protection Against Retaliation
Zehbia will not penalise or retaliate against a customer for making a genuine privacy request or good-faith grievance.
However, knowingly false, fraudulent or abusive requests may be handled in accordance with applicable law and Zehbia's Terms & Conditions.
8. Records & Audit
Zehbia may maintain records of grievances and rights requests for:
Compliance
Audit
Security
Dispute resolution
Demonstrating appropriate handling of requests
Access to such records will be restricted to authorised personnel.
